Can I apply for additional credit at the same time as in a debt management plan?

You can apply for more credit cards anytime you like. Even with bad credit there are shady card companies out there who will take advantage of you and give you a card with some ridiculously high interest rate.

If you're in a debt management program, why would you want another card though? if you're already in debt, getting another credit card won't help.

Huh?

1. You are in a debt management plan because your are deep in debt. Haven't you learned your lesson?

2. your credit is bad, so they are likely to reject your application anyway.
