Training & experience
TAFE ? Secretarial Studies, TAFE -Associate Diploma Early Childhood and UNE Bachelor of Teaching Early Childhood.? I have had experience working as a casual teacher for the Department of Education then as the Teaching Director of both private and community based Early Childhood Centres prior to opening my own Family Day Care Service in 2007.

Philosophy
I believe that there are many different types of high quality early childhood services available to families and that families can best determine the type of service that they feel comfortable and confident to use.? I also believe that Family Day Care is an excellent option, as the individual educators in conjunction with service professionals, work in partnership with families to provide a personalized, developmentally appropriate, safe and nurturing home based environment for the care and education of all children.

Program and Routine
My play based curriculum focuses on an individualized program for each child and is developed within the Principles of the Early Years Learning Framework for Australia.

The daily routine is also designed to support the individual needs of each child / family and maintains a structured yet flexible timeframe of activities throughout the day to encourage the children to make choices and develop the skills for a balanced healthy lifestyle.
