Tracy Morgan is heading to Nashville to apologize for an anti-gay rant many have criticized him for.
Comedian Tracy Morgan plans to return to Nashville next week to apologize to audience members who were offended by an anti-gay rant during a stand-up show on June 3.

Morgan already has issued a public apology, saying he went too far, even for a comedy show.
On Tuesday, Morgan publicist Nicole Chabot confirmed that Morgan agreed to the Nashville meeting at the request of Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation President Jarrett Barrios.
Morgan also agreed to meet with gay and lesbian youth in New York City this week.
And he will participate in a GLAAD public service campaign to combat anti-gay bullying.
